2011 Information
Operation Barnabas 2011 is tentatively set to begin during the second full week of June with orientation on the East Coast. OB 2011 tours will likely include stops in Eastern and Southern states. Tour will conclude at the end of July. The cost is yet to be announced but for your planning, the support total for 2010 was $3089, so you can expect a similar amount. As soon as this cost is determined, it will be posted here. (this amount includes food, lodging, tour transportation, discipleship materials, laundry and other tour expenses as well as the entire registration cost for Momentum youth conference!)

To apply for Operation Barnabas, please do the following:

1. Complete and return all pages of the application form. Be sure that the necessary signatures are present on both sections of the Health and Authorization Release.

2. Mail the completed pages of the application form to our office with a recent picture. If you finish your application later than November 12, please fax the completed application and then mail it to CE National.
3. Give the Memo to Pastors, the Pastor’s Reference and the Final Church Approval form to the senior pastor of your church right away (he needs time to complete the needed information - the church reference form is often filled out by a committee and they need time to schedule a meeting!) These two forms must be received at CE National by November 17, 2010.

4. Give the Teacher Reference (with a stamped-return envelope) to a teacher. This should preferably be one who has had you in school or has known you in that type of setting, such as a sports coach. Home-schooled students need to find someone other than a parent to fill out this reference.

5. Give the Personal Reference (with a stamped-return envelope) to a familiar adult who could comment on your character (no relative, please).

Don’t wait until the last minute to give out your references.

Note: All references must be received at CE National by November 17, 2010.

Please stress to each of your references that they need to complete and mail the forms (or fax and then mail) to our office as soon as possible! Check back with people giving references to assure the references are received by CE National no later than November 17, 2010.
